Student's Program Associations and Organizations

Saint Patrick’s Bilingual School encourages student active participation in organizations and activities in accordance with its philosophy. These promote the integral development of the students, stimulating their talents, personality development, social interaction, and citizenship.   The groups are established according to the students’ interests.  The activities are planned and developed by the students, volunteers and staff members.

 

Student Council

Students from the Secondary School level collaborate with the institution on administrative and academic matters.  They also, assist pre-school teachers during lunch hours, and in other assignments coordinated by the school.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clubs by Subject

Math, Spanish, English, Science and History Clubs.  Organize and directed by teachers to achieve maximum potential from students in those areas.

 

 

 

 

Journalism

Students have the opportunity to stand out as leaders, collecting and editing important information and events developed in our school.

 

 

Teams

The school promotes girls and boys basketball and volleyball teams at the Elementary, Middle, and High School.  They participate in intramural and extramural competitions. They are known as the “Clovers “and the “Green Team”.

 

 

 

 

Liga de Oratoria en Español de Puerto Rico

This group consist of Ninth to Twelfth grade students who compete with other students from schools throughout Puerto Rico in different categories: theater, poetry, speech, original and Improvisation  This group supervised by one of SPBS’s teachers.

 

 

 

 

 

English Forensic League of Puerto Rico

These group works on different activities according to their interests and abilities are also under the supervision of an English teacher.  Students also compete against other schools from all over Puerto Rico in different categories:  Humorous Drama, Serious Drama, Speech, Original and more.

 

National Honor Society

Secondary school students whose grade point averages are 3.50 and up are eligible to belong to this organization.  They participate and organize events to stimulate students academically.
